Mechanical configuration
The easiest way to install and configure the SIENNA® devices is with the help of a screwdriver. All operations necessary for setting up the SIENNA® system like
- Installing devices
- Setting / changing device addresses
- Incorporating new devices
- Resetting devices
can be easily performed with a screwdriver. There is no need for special training or software tools.
Software configuration
The SIENNA® system can also be configured with a PC. The PC configuration can be used together with or as an alternative to the screwdriver configuration. The configuration software runs on Windows XP:
- SIENNA® Professional is tailored for electricians who want to use the application to install, configure, control and monitor SIENNA® devices for their customers.
Like all SIENNA®devices, the software is very easy to use. All you need is an USB port on a PC and the nearest power outlet becomes your network interface. SIENNA® Professional allows the user to easily record and reconfigure the SIENNA® devices present in the powerline network.
