Panic Switch
People who live alone put security at the top of their priority list. A panic switch is a simple feature that tremendously increases the feeling of being secure at home. By pushing a single button -- either a switch in the bedroom or a remote control -- all the lights are turned on preventing intruders from escaping unnoticed. The only problem is that retrofitting a panic switch in an existing home requires a complete renewal of the electrical wiring.
With SIENNA® there is no need for panic---SIENNA® allows one to retrofit a panic switch in existing homes. SIENNA® sensors connected to the existing light switches and one central sensor is sufficient to activate the panic switch feature. If necessary the shades / blinds can also be raised when the lights are switched on. With SIENNA® and with minimum effort one can easily enhance security and sleep peacefully at night.
List of required SIENNA® components:
SIENNA® SM3 with a panic switch connected to input 1 (Address g, e = 0).
SIENNA® AM1 / AM2L actuators with address g, e = 1, 2, 3, 4, ..... etc. will be switched on by pushing the panic switch.
